Exploring the intersection of place, memory, and heritage through conversations between two landscapes: the Burren in Ireland and my home here in Merri-bek. This research-based practice investigates how displacement, migration, and cultural inheritance shape contemporary identity, examining the ongoing effects of my own family’s Irish diaspora through material and metaphorical layers. Using mixed media including print, acrylic, charcoal, collage, silk, and found objects, I layer personal and collective narratives that speak to broader questions of belonging.
